Moving Update

So I'll be moving to SIUE next Thursday.  Last Tuesday was my last day of work.  I've been chilling since then.  I probably won't do much packing until the beginning of next week.  I don't really have all that much.  I just really need to work hard at getting it all in my little Civic, though.  It's looking like I'll only be able to make one trip since I'm supposed to be out of the apartment by 10 am and can't move into the campus apartments until 11 am.  Should be an interesting task! 

As much as I liked the area I have lived in, there is one conclusion that I have come to is that it is really lonely living in the suburbs when you don't know anyone.  I have met some really cool people....mainly at the church I attend (we tend to only hang out before or after services, if at all), but most of the people that live in my apartment complex keep to themselves.  It's quiet that way but can be incredibly lonely at other times.  I am anxious to get back to the Edwardsville area where there are several people that I already know and will be able to hang out with. 

I have recently discovered a side project from the lead singer of As I Lay Dying called Austrian Death Machine.  All the song titles from the cd Total Brutal are great Schwarzeneger movie one-liners and are used to create great face melting hardcore songs.  Song titles include "Come With Me If You Want To Live", "If It Bleeds We Can Kill It", "Who Is Your Daddy And What Does He Do?", "It's Not A Tumor", and "Get To The Choppa".  Great stuff I tell ya!
